The First African Bar Leaders Conference held at Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos Nigeria from 10th April to 13th April 2016.
Conference Theme was “Reducing Poverty And Promoting Sustainable Economic Growth In Africa Through Reforms In Administration Of Justice“.
The Conference was declared open by His Excellency, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, (SAN) Vice President, Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
Conference Host was His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor Of Lagos State.
Chairman was Honourable Justice Mahmud Mohammed JSC, GCON, Chief Justice Of Nigeria.
Special Guest of Honour was Abubakar Malami, SAN, Attorney General Of the Federation & Minister Of Justice.
Keynote Speaker was Mrs. Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor, International Criminal Court.
The Next Conference shall be hosted by Tunisia.
